Water:

The amount of water and amount of clothes to wash at a time will depend on the size of your bucket
or tub. Fill with enough water and clothes that clothes will float freely to allow good agitation.
Detergent:

use 1-2 teaspoons of detergent to clean normally soild clothes. Use a little more soap for heavily soild clothes.
Washing:

Soak clothes in water and detergent. Agitate 30 seconds to 1 minute for normally soiled clothes,
a little longer for heavily soild clothes.
Agitate by lifting the washer up and down in the water,
moving the clothes around in the water.

Rinse with clean water and repeat the agitating motion.

Wring out clothes and dry.
